Love Motivates Our Preaching Work
SA20 - Let Love Motivate You to Keep Preaching!

At the 2023 annual meeting, we received updates on our beliefs and ministry, including reduced reporting requirements and the hope of individuals after Babylon the Great's destruction. The urgency of preaching is underscored because we know that time is running out. We are motivated through love for the good news, people, and Jehovah, a love that drives our commitment to continue preaching zealously until the end comes.

Key Scripture

  • Mark 13:10 emphasizes the necessity of preaching the good news in all nations.

Exciting Events:

  • The 2023 annual meeting at Newburgh Assembly Hall in New York provided exciting clarifications and announcements about the ministry.
  • Some individuals might join Jehovah’s people even after Babylon the Great is destroyed.
  • As of November 2023, Kingdom publishers are no longer required to report all their ministry activities.

More Urgent Than Ever

  • Urgency of Ministry: The ministry becomes more urgent with time running out, reflecting Jesus’ prophecy about preaching in the last days (Matthew 24:14).
  • Motivation from Love: Love motivates preaching work, reflecting love for the good news, people, and Jehovah.

WE PREACH BECAUSE WE LOVE THE GOOD NEWS

Why Do We Love The Good News

  • Love for the Good News: Initial joy upon learning Bible truths inspires sharing those truths (Luke 24:32; Jeremiah 20:9).
  • Example: Ernest, who found answers to long-held questions through Bible study, eagerly shared his beliefs, leading to many baptisms.

WE PREACH BECAUSE WE LOVE PEOPLE

Why Do We Love People

  • Love for People: Compassion for those without hope motivates efforts to reach them with the good news (Ephesians 2:12).
  • Warning Message: Preaching includes warning about the approaching end of the wicked world and possible salvation during the great tribulation (Ezekiel 33:7, 8; Matthew 24:21).

WE PREACH BECAUSE WE LOVE JEHOVAH AND HIS NAME

Why Do We Love Jehovah

  • Love for Jehovah: The primary reason for preaching is love for Jehovah and his name, viewing the ministry as a way to praise and defend Jehovah (Revelation 4:11; Isaiah 43:10-12).
    • Sanctifying Jehovah's Name: Preaching helps clear Jehovah’s name from Satan’s lies and stands up for His righteousness and justice.

Conclusion

  • Future Prospects: Anticipation of more people accepting the truth before and during the great tribulation, with ongoing preaching work being a privilege (Acts 13:48).
  • Determination: Commitment to continue preaching with eagerness, urgency, and zeal motivated by love until Jehovah declares it is enough.

We must be committed to continue preaching with the belief that time is running out, not because of some selfish reason, but because it was foretold by Jesus in the Bible.

With the Special Convention in Philadelphia this week and next, we are so happy to welcome the thousand of delegates to our city, the city of Brotherly Love! With this in mind, I am extremely busy, I don’t know if I’ll be able to do next week, but we’ll see; I enjoy composing these as much as you reading/completing.

Love you all! ❤️🙏
