SA24 - Remain Jehovah's Guest Forever!
Psalm 15 outlines the qualities required to remain Jehovah's guest and enjoy a close, personal relationship with Him. The psalmist David may have been thinking of the tabernacle when referring to Jehovah's "tent" and "holy mountain," symbolizing a privileged relationship with God. To remain in this figurative tent, all of Jehovah's faithful servants must cultivate specific qualities that keep them as His friends.
- Maintaining Friendship with Jehovah: The article emphasizes the importance of cultivating and maintaining a close relationship with Jehovah to remain his guest. Psalm 15 is highlighted as a guide for developing qualities necessary to stay in Jehovah’s favor.
- Walk Faultlessly and Practice Righteousness: To be a guest in Jehovah’s tent, one must strive to walk faultlessly and practice what is right. This involves consistent, progressive action and obeying God in all aspects of life, even in minor matters. Past faithfulness is appreciated but ongoing dedication is essential.
- Speak the Truth in Your Heart: Jehovah values honesty and sincerity. His friends must do more than just avoid lying but also be truthful in their hearts, avoiding hypocrisy and deceit. Jesus commended Nathanael for his sincerity, a quality that Jehovah’s guests should strive to emulate.
- Treat Others Well: How we treat others is crucial. A guest in Jehovah’s tent does not slander, harm neighbors, or defame friends. Avoiding negative speech and speculation about others’ situations is vital to remain in Jehovah’s favor.
- Honor Those Who Fear Jehovah: Jehovah’s friends should reject those who are contemptible by God’s standards and honor those who fear Jehovah. Keeping promises, even when difficult, is important, as is showing kindness, respect, and hospitality to fellow believers.
- Remain Free of the Love of Money: Jehovah’s guests should avoid being influenced by money. Lending without interest, avoiding bribes, and keeping a balanced view of money help maintain a strong relationship with God. Reflecting on one’s attitude toward money is encouraged.
- Jehovah’s Love and Promises: Jehovah desires happiness for his friends and provides guidance for their protection and blessing. Faithful guests of Jehovah can look forward to a secure future, whether in heaven or on earth, as described in John 14:2 and Revelation 21:3.

What a powerful reminder of the qualities needed to maintain a close relationship with Jehovah.
When we reviewed the part about walking faultlessly, it really struck a chord with me as I trying to stay honest in my business dealings, especially when no one is watching. We msut practice righteousness in all aspects of our lives which is motivation to keep striving for Jehovah’s approval.
Welcome back! Missed my puzzle last week. Thanks for the summary, these two WTs have been very dear to me, it’s so important to remain in Jehovah’s tent.
